I've started the website layout and tried to divide it up a bit, but Im not sure exactly how we should do it so hopefully you guys have already been working on your parts and can look at the website and let me know what you think. We really need to get this going soon, its alot of work for us to do in just a few days, since we have to create 2-3 pages each and create another original project each.
Let me know what you want to do from here, once you look at the site.

Team Website!!!
Hi girls! So for the rest of the semester we just have to create our team website. I started it out just by creating our URL and actual site. So that we can all access it the login name is: weatherandtechnology@gmail.com and the password is: weather&technology I tried so many different, better names but all the cute, good ones were taken, lol. So thats what I ended up with. When signing in spell out and, but for the password use the symbol( & ), they hade to be different.
I know its Thanksgiving week, so we probably won't get to much done this week, but Im going to at least start uploading pages and organizing my lesson plans and projects a little. Feel free to change anything and start working on the website! It's due at the end of next week. Have a great Thanksgiving :)

Podcast Part One
Weather Monitoring Podcast
Part 1: Introduction
(Here's what I said in mine...it ended up being a little over a minute and a half)
"Our group project is about weather monitoring. When this project began we wanted to make sure we would at least briefly cover a lot of different areas, regarding the weather. We chose to start our project by focusing on some general, main concepts of weather, to create a broad range of topics; Including: temperature, humidity, clouds, atmospheric pressure, wind and precipitation, and how they all fit together to create the weather we see each day.
We then started to dive into these different areas, to get a better sense of each element that creates our weather. For our first element, Temperature, we looked at how wind chills and heat index affects our temperatures. For humidity, we focused on the water vapor in the air and relative humidity. We found the three main types of cloud formations, Cumulus, Cirrus, and Stratus Clouds and their main differences and similarities. For Atmospheric Pressure we concentrated on high and low pressure, the weight of air on the Earth’s surface, and how to use a synoptic map. We looked at different areas of wind, like the jet stream, gale winds, breezes, and how the wind is affected by the sun. And for precipitation we focused at sleet, fog, rain, snow, and hail, as well as looking more into the water cycle; such as evaporation, condensation and water collection."

Podcasts
Hi girls! So to get us started for this podcast assignment I figured we could just split it up into three sections, one each. I'll do the first segment if you guys dont care, just to get it going. They only have to be 1-2 mins so Ill just do a brief overview of our main concepts about weather and then add in two concepts from the book. Im not sure which ones yet, Ill post on to here when I figure it out later. Then another part could be about our lesson plans and digital stories, maybe briefly going over a few of them?!? And the other part like a conclusion, maybe talking about how we will use technology to finish up our project and review main concepts!?!?
Sorry that was really long! But let me know what you guys think, obviously its just an idea so feel free to change anything or talk about whatever. Lets keep posting on this though, so we can see what each of us will talk about and make sure it flows together once were all finished.
Have a good weekend :)
